Guoyang aluminium silicate tells you what ceramic fibers are
Aluminum silicate fiber, also known as ceramic fiber, is a new type of lightweight refractory material. It has the advantages of light bulk density, high temperature resistance, good thermal stability, low thermal conductivity, small heat capacity, good mechanical vibration resistance, small thermal expansion and good thermal insulation. After special processing, it can be made into aluminium silicate fiberboard, aluminium silicate fiber felt, aluminium silicate fiber rope, aluminium silicate fiber blanket and other products.
The new sealing material has the characteristics of low thermal conductivity, light bulk density, long service life, high tensile strength, good elasticity and non-toxicity. It is a new material to replace asbestos and widely used in thermal insulation of metallurgical, electrical, mechanical and chemical equipment. Up to now, there are more than 200 ceramic fiber manufacturers in China, big and small. However, the production process of ceramic fibers categorized as 1425 C (containing zirconium fibers) and below can only be divided into two kinds: silk-throwing blanket and blowing blanket. Which is better, silk-throwing blanket or spinning blanket? Which process is more suitable for blanket production?From a technical point of view, the following are analyzed:
1. Diameter of filament: Throwing fibers are thicker, threading fibers are generally 3.0-5.0 um, spinneret fibers are generally 2.0-3.0 um;
2. The length of the filament: the flip filament is longer, the flip filament is generally 150-250 mm, and the spinneret filament is 100-200 mm.
3. Thermal conductivity: The spinneret is better than the flip blanket because of its finer fibers.
4. Tensile and flexural strength: the silk-throwing blanket is better than the spinneret because of its thicker fibers.
5. The application of making ceramic fiber block: the threading blanket is better than the spinneret because of its thick and long fibers. In the folding process of the block, the threading blanket is easy to break and tear, while the threading blanket can be folded very tightly and not easily destroyed, and the quality of the block will directly affect the quality of the furnace lining.
6. The vertical laying application of large blankets such as waste heat boilers: the silk throwing blanket is better than the spinneret because of its thick and long fibers, better tensile strength and durability.
